Katiedid hang at the ranch. Round 2.

A few weekends ago the Grz. fam made another trip to the beloved ranch.
This time sissy and her boyfriend {CJ} came to tag along too!

The weather was pretty cold and dreary, so we all stayed snuggled up in the house most of the trip.
 Mini, MM, and I did manage to go out for one afternoon hunt on Friday.
And hello, little outie!
{It's just too hard to hide the bullseye on my big ol' belly... So, I am embracing it!}
I see some significant baby bump growth in 1 month!
Glamma lovin' on the belly.
Hunting family.
Best Pappa-to-be ever.
We all can see who is the REAL hunter in the stand!
Sissy and CJ made a late evening arrival.
MM getting cozy with the MIL...
...Then playing hard to get with the wifey...
Losers Snoozers after an early Saturday morning hunt.
Cute couple in the hot tub.
{You couldn't pay me to put on a bathing suit.}
CJ and his rifle.
Watch yourself.
Pregger pic.
The family went shooting.
We opted to stay in the car.
Action shot.
{See the bullet casing in the top right-ish corner of picture 2?!}
Boys, boys, boys.
Avidly playing our favorite ranch game, Rummikub!
This was another trip of MM only killing hogs.
And this one was pregnant!
I will spare you the poor baby/fetus pictures.
{They make this momma-to-be tear up a little.}
Boys playing their nightly game of poker.
And one pooped puppy!
These family ranch trips {full of uninterrupted family time} are one of our favorite parts of fall!
It's crazy to think the next time we head up to the ranch an EIGHT month old mini-Martin will be tagging along!!
CAN NOT WAIT.

A {BIG} bare belly post is coming at you next!
It REALLY has been SIX weeks since the last one.
My goodness, where has the time gone?!

Katiedid count and wish.

Our Christmas cards for this year have been arriving in mailboxes.
So, I thought it was time to wish all my little blog readers a miraculous holiday season as well!

Our card design for this year came from tiny prints.
Literally, the second I saw it I knew it was absolutely perfect for us!

2011 has truly been the year of unexpected blessings for the Martins.
And each day I think to myself, "How did I ever get so, so, so lucky?!"
I have an amazing, adorable, and super hard working "hot hubby."
My heart is so happy and full of love for our surprise mini-Martin.
We unexpectedly bought the perfect home for our growing little family.
My entire family is totally priceless, and I love that they are all now seconds away!
Our Maltese {Grace} is the sweetest furry munchkin there ever could be.
Graduate school/NP school has been unbelievably easy to fit into all this madness.
And I have the sweetest old and new friends for added support.
I am one grateful girl!

Hope you all are finding yourselves abundantly blessed this holiday season!

Katiedid give thanks.

November {the month of giving thanks} was one whirlwind of a month!
There were up's, down's, smiles, and tears.
And I couldn't be more thankful for each and every day.

From my last post, it's probably blatantly obvious that moving consumed the majority of the month.
But, we did manage to squeeze in 2 family thanksgivings.

MM's family had a big ol' family reunion at the Italian house on thanksgiving.
It was a nice afternoon full of family and pasta and meatballs.
I didn't take any pictures.
Shame on me.
Oops, I lied.
Shame on me again.
MM and I did take our Christmas card picture.
That will be debuted on the blog after they have been sent out.

This was the one year I was actually allowed to "eat for 2."
And preggers mini-Martin needed to feast on the traditional turkey, dressing, and pie.
So, on Saturday my sweet Momma cooked a full on traditional Thanksgiving dinner all by herself.
Yummy in my tummy.
Again, no pictures.
Shame on me x 3.
Truth be told, my non-maternity thanksgiving outfit was a little too tight in a few places.
Until I ran home and changed into my stretchy pants, I was miserable.
Smiling for a picture was the last thing on my mind.

After dinner we played a family game of LCR {left-center-right}.
 Or RLC {right-left-center} as we call it.
I miraculously won all three of the games we played!
I don't think my family was too thankful all of their dollar bills went into my wallet.
Shame on me x 4.

And because no post is complete without a picture...
Here is the one picture I just can't peel my eyes off of.
I have never been more thankful for anything in my life.

Katiedid move.

We are finally {almost} settled into our new nest!
We absolutely love it to pieces and continuously find ourselves saying, "This is SO awesome!"
We moved from a one story 1200 sq foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house...
To a one story 2400 sq foot, 4 bedroom, 2 bath house,
with a dining room, added on playroom, and a pool.
Holy, square footage and closet space!
My heart is happy.

I undoubtedly have the best family and MOMMA ever.
She has been a total angel throughout the entire prep/packing/painting/moving/unpacking/cleaning/decorating process.
I truly cannot complete a single task or make the tiniest decision without her input!
And our entire extended family has been such a blessing to have close too.
From bringing by dinners, power washing, or hanging fans and chandeliers, they all have been just awesome!

Here I am on day 1 {out of 5} of painting.
We basically had our whole stinkin' house painted from top to bottom.
Ceilings, walls, baseboards, cabinets, and closets.
Everything besides the dining room!

Here come the before and after pictures!
ENAMEL.
 BASEBOARDS.
CARPET.
ENTRYWAY.

DINING ROOM.
{The playroom is through the french doors.}
LIVING ROOM.

The Christmas tree will get decorated this weekend!

{Gracie-goo loves it too!}

MASTER BEDROOM.

BABY ROOM.
 GUEST ROOM.

The Martin's on moving day!
My hot hubby working on the pool.
And my LAST unopened box!

Our house has already been designated as the new family hangout.
{And mini-Martin hasn't even arrived yet!}
I am positively thrilled about all the happy memories that will be happening behind this front door!

Hope you all did a lot less "moving" this week!
My pregnant self is pooped.
But, I am oh-so thankful for all the busyness in my life.
{More on all that in the next post!}
