Katiedid the surprise Mother's Day announcement.

Mother's Day is quickly becoming one of my most treasured holidays!
It's the day I get to celebrate my most favorite job in this entire world...
Being a Mommy!
And we get to celebrate all the other wonderful mothers in our lives.
It doesn't get much better than that.
Well, this year it did!

While we were at brunch with our family and friends, my handsome husband made this special little announcement.

{Disclaimer: I did order ONE mimosa and have TWO sips because too many questions were being asked before the announcement. I didn't want to ruin the surprise! No harm done.}

Mini-Martin part 2 is due December 3rd!
We found out on Easter and have slowly been telling close family and friends.
Now that everyone knows, it makes preparing for #2 even more fun and exciting!

Here is a short recap of my Mother's day.
Pre-Mass picture.
At brunch and just after the announcement!
And about 15 minutes after Ems nearly threw up all over me.
Never a dull moment.
Afternoon fun at Glamma and Papa's.
Matching mother-daughter monogrammed bracelets thanks to the wonderful Crystal Faye.
I also ordered my Mom a pair of the monogrammed rainboots. However, much to my surprise, a pair with MY monogram showed up at my door instead. They accidentally monogrammed the wrong initials and I got to keep them for myself. Lucky little Mother's Day mixup! Thanks Crystal for your fabulous customer service and for my unexpected surprise. They make my monogram loving heart so happy!
I spy a wee little 10-ish week MM2 bump!
My parents heated their hot tub and little Ems got to swim for the first time this year.
It was her first time in floaties. Beyond adorable!
Nothing in this world makes me happier than being her Mommy!
And to think that next year I will be a Mommy to TWO precious babies make me giddy with excitement.
I am one blessed Mommy!
I hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating all of the incredible mother's in your life!
