Katiedid Green Bay.

Sorry about the brief Wisconsin trip interruptions, sweet readers.
The other special events needed to be posted on their respective date.
Now, back to traveling business!

While in WI, we attended our first GREEN BAY Packer game!
If you know the extensiveness of our love for those cheeseheads, you understand all the hoopla.
It was their first pre-season game of the season.
Nonetheless, it was a GAME...
Played by the PACKERS...
in LAMBAU field!
Being able to get regular season Packer tickets is no easy, breezy task.
The tickets are season tickets and those season tickets are passed down from generation to generation.
Basically, you have to know someone who has season tickets and will graciously give you one.
And for them to give you their ticket they would probably have to be dead or dying not to be there themselves.
So, we were absolutely floured we knew the right people {thanks Uncle Mike!} who could get some of these hot little tickets in our hands.

Before the game, we headed over to my Uncle Mike's {my Godfather} home in Green Bay for a little pre-game cookout action.
Uncle Mike and Aunt Melissa have 5 incredibly precious children!
Below is a little near cry...

Which turned into a who is this chick face?!
I am slightly getting better at the always making babies cry thing.
Nice timing.

Brats included!
No WI gathering happens without em!

Boys, boys, boys!

The game day parking is like nothing I have ever seen!
Every house surrounding the stadium offers front lawn parking and a bathroom if you are lucky!

 Mind your manners.

Hottie.

Matty, Daddy, and Vince!

Mom, Kate, and Curly!

The Martin's.

Pregnant girl signing up to be the DD!

Awesomeness!

So very fitting!

Getting up close and personal with the QB's!

Mini-Martin's first game too!

We soaked up every stinkin' second of that game!
And to top things off, it was the first GREEN BAY Packer win of the season!
One last WI realted post coming soon.
{Thanks to this post, I am now craving a big beer boiled brat.}

Katiedid hope.

This morning we had our 20 week Anatomy Scan and absolutely fell in love with this cutie all over again!

Oh my goodness, I have such a little squirmer in my belly!
At every ultrasound the technician comments about how stinkin' active he/she is.
I just laugh, smile, and stare at the screen while they struggle to get the images/measurements.
That's just another few minutes I get to look at our little love bug!
It was also confirmed that mini-Martin's head is on my left side...
Which explains all the action I always I feel on my right side.

Thankfully, no gender specific "parts" popped out today.
The sweet tech said she was "avoiding that area like the plague."
At the end, she told us to close our eyes while she took a super quick look.
Everything in that area is good-to-go as well!
I can not believe she is the ONE person that knows the sex of mini-Martin.
I am slightly jealous someone knows, and I {the MOM} don't.
But, no surprise will ever compare to the one coming up in March!

Here is the happy Momma after getting the healthy report!
I swear, from the exact second you find out you are pregnant...
You never stop wishing, hoping, and praying for your baby's sweet little life.

Now, for a little favor I hope you will pass along...
In just about 6 short weeks our current precious little home will be vacant and RENTABLE!
{We are only moving to be closer to our families and for a little more room for our family to grown in!}

We live {in Houston} just minutes away from the Medical Center, Galleria, Rice Village, and downtown.
If you want me to be more specific {without divulging my actual address}, we live just outside Loop 610 between the Braeswood and Stella Link exits.
This would be the perfect little home for someone/a new family that wants to be close to all the Houston goodness, but still wants to rent in an affordable, safe neighborhood.

We have made SO many updates recently and just are not ready to sell.
The updates include a cozy little deck in the front of the house, wood floors, granite countertops, new windows and wood shutters, an alarm system, and a 10 foot fence in the back yard.

Deck:

Living Room:

Kitchen:

We have 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms:

 Backyard:

We are looking for responsible, neat renters starting in December.
For more information, please email me at matkatmartin@gmail.com.
And again, please pass this along to any of your friends or family members that may be interested!

Katiedid celebrate 2 years.

In spite of a MM being out of town all last week and my weekend being full of taking care of people with "emergencies," we were able to squeeze in a wonderful anniversary dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.
{Anniversary #2 and Anniversary #1}

I definitely busted out the sparkly wedding shoes again!
And I will continue to do so on EVERY anniversary.
They still make me smile from ear to ear!

Boy, I have not changed much.
EXCEPT for my sweet baby bump!

Sorrento {owned by the father of a close friend} is turning out to be our special anniversary spot!
We have celebrated 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years there.
{They also have the most amazing Sunday brunch!}

We had the most precious conversations at dinner.
We giggled over the fact that last year we talked about where our lives would be at our second anniversary...
And how happy we are with it turning out to be NOTHING like we expected.
We have been so unexpectedly blessed and are graciously accepting all God has planned for us.

I am still amazed at how my heart continues to fall more and MORE in love with the incredibly handsome smiling face pictured above!
I thought I was totally smitten in high school.
Crazy in love in college.
Absolutely head-over-heals on our wedding day.
And after finding out we are expecting our first BABY and completely changing our entire "planned" life together...
I love him WAY to much for words!
My heart already skips beats {and tears are currently flowing!} just thinking about seeing him hold our child for the first time.

Enough of the mushy, mushy love stuff.
Have a blessed week!
We get to see our little blessing tomorrow during our 20 week Anatomy Scan.
Please send up a few prayers that all is still perfect.
{And that a few "parts" continue to stay hidden from Mom and Dad's view!}
