Katiedid Milwaukee.

I hope you all had a lovely little fall-ish weekend!
We sure soaked up every second.
The majority of it was spent with friends and family watching football and wearing knee high boots!
And we did get some more unexpected and oh-so EXCITING news!
That tends to be the 2011 trend in the Martin house.
More on all that goodness in a few days...

For now, I am going to share our glorious Wisconsin trip with you all.
At the end of August I had a mini, yet much needed, break from school.
I was just getting my energy and appetite back, so this relaxing getaway came at the perfect time.
We soaked up the fall Wisconsin weather, spent hours exploring mother nature and all her greatness, cherished sweet family time, and ate the most delicious fresh-from-the-earth food.

Here is the part ONE of our trip!
We left Houston bright and early.
And by early, I mean up at 3:45, leaving the house by 4:45, and taking off at 7:00.
Here we come, Milwaukee!

MM and his well traveled self was able to get us a free SUV upgrade.
The Explorer was JUST big enough to hold all our luggage.

That afternoon we checked into our hotel, explored downtown, and lunched at a yummy Milwaukee sports bar.

{It's an Odouls, people. Look closely. No beer for Mama.}

That evening we headed to our first Brewers game.
Our seats were awesome and the Brewers were on some crazy game winning streak.
Needless to say, we had one home run of a good time!

Outdoor shopping and hitting up the Milwaukee H&M was all we had planned for the next day.
And we sure did spend some quality time and dollars in that spectacular place.

The before. And the after.
How cute are our hubsters?!
Carrying ONE of our bags was the least they could do...

Super fun elevator shot.

And we are on the road again!

Next stop, Crivitz.
That is the itty-bitty town my Momma grew up in.
Get ready for a glimpse into the sweet simple life!
