Emmedid turn ONE month.

Easter Day was also Emme Kate's ONE month birthday!

You may think I am lying...

But, I truly LOVED every single day of this month. 

She is the most precious thing I have ever laid my eyes on. 

One month photo shoot. 

One month appointment. 

9 lbs 9 oz and 21.75 inches long. 

Second Hepatitis B shot. 

Emmedid grow. 

-Since you turned one month old just three days after being 4 weeks, not much has changed since this post. 

-Our typical day looks something like this: Wake up and first feeding around 7:00 am, second feeding around 10:00 am, third feeding around 1:00 pm, fourth feeding around 4:00 pm, fifth feeding around 7:00 pm, bath around 9:30 pm {you still hate them!}, sixth feeding around 10:00 pm, bed around 11:00 pm, seventh feeding around 3:30 am, and you wake up around 7:00 am again. 

-You fell into this schedule all by yourself. I really try to feed you consistently every 3 hours during the day, so we can have those 4-5 hour stretches at night. 

-Mommy still does ALL the feedings. It's just easier and we have our own little night time routine. Plus Mommy is an obsessive freak about you choking on spit-up while you sleep. I make sure "it's all out" before I put you back in your bassinet.  

-You are still wearing mostly newborn or 0-3 month clothes.

-You are wearing size 1 diapers. 

-The day after you turned one month old, I swear you changed drastically over night!

You had your first smile session while Mommy talked to you about the school work she was doing on the computer. 

And you began to "coo" all the time. 

-I love your little feet so stinkin' much. When you are nursing they are constantly moving and I think it's just adorable! These shoes were supposed to be in your Easter basket, but they arrived a day late. 

-I love learning all about YOU! I have figured out your different cry's, wimpers, and when you are going to spit-up. 

-I secretly love breastfeeding you. I get to steal you away from whoever is holding you and have our special "alone time." 

-Nothing else brings me more joy than being able to comfort you when you are crying. I know exactly how you love to be held, rocked, and cuddled.

We love you too the moon and back, little Emme.
